Lake Cleanup & Full Moon Party

It's finally time! The first annual (hopefully annual) Pontiac Lake Cleanup & Full Moon Party is this Saturday. Please help us keep Pontiac Cove and the rest of Bull Shoals Lake clean. You can stop by the dock anytime Saturday and pick up trash bags. We'll have prizes for the most trash collected and the most unique find. We'll collect full trash bags at the launch ramp starting at about 3:00 in the afternoon. Then we'll have a picnic in the park at about 5:00. We're cooking brats and hot dogs. And we'll provide drinks. Plus, we have Allen Ross lined up from 6 to 10 p.m. in the park for our full moon party. Yes... It actually is the full moon Saturday! Woo-hoo! Please bring a dish for the picnic. And a lawn chair. It looks like we're going to have nice weather. So let's enjoy it while we can! See you there!

I have a nice size bag enough to feed 4 people all they can eat. BUT I Didn't catch it. Good old Doc (Norman Klayman) caught it for me he stayed out half the night where as I was in by dark to tend my birds.

Spring Creek Area is a high traffic area with lots of parties in the coves. This would be a good start.
Then there is Hollingsworth another party area with high volume use.
For those that don't want to get out with a boat then the Gooley (sp)Creek arm would be excellent to wander around and pick up all the stuff dumped there that can wash into the lake when the lake actually has water in it.
Just some of my suggestions for what it is worth

Yep... Ditto to what Lynda suggested... Also, if you don't want to take your boat out (can't beach it, etc.) then we might take our big rental pontoon out, and take a boatload of people out from shore to shore... Just check in at the dock Saturday sometime if you'd like to do that. :)
