Good rainy morning, folks! It wouldn't be Memorial weekend if we didn't see a little rain, right? Overall it was a good holiday weekend here in Pontiac. No major mishaps. The skies were mostly sunny (with a few tornado watches and rain showers in the mix). It was good to see people enjoying the lake despite the high water and high gas prices. Last year our highest gas price at the marina was on Memorial weekend. Wouldn't it be nice if that same theory worked again this year! Something's gotta give.
From what I heard on the news this morning, the rain is supposed to clear up and reveal blue skies and sunshine this afternoon. So enjoy your Memorial day!

Gas prices will limit trips to the lake this year for us, for sure. Will also limit the running we do in the boat. We are having thought about selling the boat & camper because of the high prices.
Got any recent pictures of the water levels (like the ones showing the hill going up towards Just Jacki's)?
